Getting your new kitten vaccinated is one of the most important things you should do in your first few weeks as a cat owner. Cat vaccinations help to protect your pets from severe infectious diseases. It also prevents them from passing anything nasty on to other animals in the area.
Your kitten’s primary vaccination course, followed by a yearly booster will help to protect against:
Cat flu (feline upper respiratory tract disease)
Feline Leukemia Virus
Enteritis (severe viral diarrhoea)
The primary course consists of two vaccinations. The first can be given from 8 weeks of age, followed by the second vaccination 3-4 weeks later.
