Meet the Team

  • Joyce Murray MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Joyce qualified from Edinburgh University in 1991. She has worked in a variety of Mixed and Small Animal Practices before joining St Kitts in June 2007. She enjoys the variety of General Practice and also getting to know the clients and their pets. Joyce has a young son and twin daughters. In Joyce’s spare time she enjoys walking with her Labrador Jessie who, everyone agrees, is her best behaved child by a mile.

  • Rosalyne Bind MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Roz qualified in 2002 from Liverpool University and has worked in various parts of the country. Roz has interests in soft tissue surgery along with diagnostic ultrasound.
    Outside of work Roz is busy with 2 young children, 2 cats and a dog.
    She is looking forward to meeting you and looking after your furry friends!

  • Karolina Pionk MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Karolina joined the group in August 2018. She qualified in 2005 in Poland and has been working in the UK for the last few years.
    Karolina enjoys D.I.Y ,embroidery and gardening.

  • Sabina Prasad MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Sabina joined St Kitts in October 2017. She has been qualified and working in practice since 1999.
    Outside of work Sabina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and has 2 rescue cats named Bobby and Billy.
    Sabina's hobbies include Indian classical dance, painting and playing the violin.

  • Tadanori Hashimoto MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Tadanori qualified as a Vet in Japan in 2006 and qualified as MRCVS in 2010.
    Tadanori has keen interests in small animal medicine and imaging. He obtained his certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine) in 2017. Tadanori would like to further broaden his skills in small animal surgery.
    He has recently moved from Richmond to Hampshire with his family, including his wife, son and Jack Russel Terrier, Harvey. Tad enjoys walks in the parks with Harvey, reading and spending time with his family.

  • Paul Dobson MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Paul grew up locally in Yateley. He qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from Bristol University in 2007. Paul spent 4 years working in small animal practice before moving over to shelter medicine at the a branch of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
    Paul has a strong interest in canine and feline medicine in particular.
    In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 sons and his cat Thomas. They can often be found outdoors or baking and cooking.

  • Kate Moore MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Kate graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2003. She spent a period of time travelling abroad interspersed with periods of locum work. She moved to Surrey 10 years ago and has been working in small animal practice since. Kate has a particular interest in feline medicine and creating a cat friendly environment within the clinic.
    She lives with her husband and a 3 year old crazy black and white cat called Basil.
    Out of work Kate enjoy's cooking, eating out and wine tasting. She loves travel and has traveled extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America.

  • Anna Jones RVN SQP CC ANA

    Practice Manager

    Anna started at St Kitts Veterinary Group in April 2018 as practice manager. She has been working in practice since 2005 and qualified as an RVN in 2009. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, running and taking Barney her Labrador for long walks.

  • Jo Pulman

    Branch Manager

    Jo has been a Veterinary Nurse all her working life, starting out at the RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital where she did her training and worked her way up to Theatre Supervisor. Jo then joined a Private Practice in South Croydon as Head Nurse and stayed there for 8 years. She moved to Yateley in 2000 and has worked at Firgrove since it opened in May 2002, helping to build up a successful, friendly surgery. She is married with a son and has a rabbit and a cat.

  • Gail Humphreys RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Gail qualified in 1979 and worked in Veterinary Practice for another 12 years in a variety of Surgeries, finally as Head Nurse for 6 years. She then took a break until 2007 to bring up her 3 daughters. Gail feels lucky to do a job that she loves, meeting wonderful people and their animals. She has a variety of pets, Golden Retrievers, Labrador, cats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, degu, gerbils, budgies and fish.

  • Louise Crook RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Louise qualified in April 2017 but has worked in practice for four years previously. She has two cats at home, the newest addition is a naughty three- legged kitten who Louise recently adopted. Outside of work Louise enjoys taking the family dog for long walks, spending time with her family & baking!

  • Hayley Shaw RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Hayley joined St Kitts Veterinary Group in January 2019.
    Hayley has keen interest in anaesthesia nursing .
    She has had a menagerie of pets including ferrets, guinea pigs, dogs, a hand- reared cockatiel, zebra finches and a horse.
    I currently have a lionhead rabbit called Bunion who i reascued from a field and a hamster called Beena

  • Hannah Cannon RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Hannah Qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2018. She has keen interests in Dance and enjoys spending time with her 2 cats.

  • Elinor Rees SVN

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Elinor joined the team in September 2018 as a student veterinary nurse. Elinor has previous experience working in a cattery. She currently shares her home with her 2 rescue cats, her Miniature Dachshund puppy and 5 hamsters.

  • Wendy Osborne ANA

    Animal Nursing Assistant

    Wendy joined Firgrove shortly after it opened in 2002. She works part time to enable her to spend all her spare time with her horse and two Lurchers. Wendy has also enjoyed fostering various dogs/puppies for Rescue Centres to help them socialise and progress away from the stressful kennel environment. Wendy has a particular soft spot for the Lurcher and Greyhound type

  • Alison Pither ANA

    Animal Nursing Assistant

    Alison has been working in the veterinary industry for 8 years. She joined the Firgrove team in January 2019.
    She has a studied to be an animal Nursing Assistant and has her City and Guilds in anaesthesia.
    Outside of work Alison enjoys socializing and football.

  • Sarah Coughtrey

    Auxiliary Nurse

    Sarah started with the Practice in 2007; She enjoys both the friendly atmosphere at Firgrove and the variety of animals that come through the door. Sarah has a very busy life looking after 3 children and all her various animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, pigeons, hamsters and chinchillas as well as fostering for the RSPCA and caring for orphaned and injured wildlife.

  • Nicola Yates

    Receptionist

    Nicola joined the staff at Firgrove in 2008 having spent the previous 15 years working at the local Cattery. She enjoys both the new skills that this position gives her and the friendly atmosphere provided by the staff and clients.

  • Andrea Clement

    Receptionist

    Andrea joined Firgrove as a Receptionist in March 2015, after an 18 year career in Retail. Andrea has three grown up children, two very lively working Cocker Spaniel dogs, a cat, two chickens and a tarantula.

  • Caron-Marie Swadling

    Receptionist

    Caron joined our Firgrove reception team in June 2017. Caron also continues to work as a freelance book keeper in her spare time.
    She has two teenage daughters and a keen cyclist husband.
    She fits in very well to the team as an avid animal lover ! She currently has Darcy the pony, a crazy dalmation Domino and syrian hamster Bean.

  • Clare Andrews

    Receptionist

    Clare joined the Firgrove team in January 2019. She previously ran her own dog boarding business so has lots of experience with pets. Clare looks forward to seeing you all on reception.
