  • Gus Denovan MRCVS CertAVP

    Practice Principal

    Gus is the Practice owner. He has been awarded Advanced Veterinary Practitioner status by the RCVS. He graduated from Sydney University in 1994 and has been working in Small Animal Practice ever since. Gus has several pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, two Whippets and a cat called Brian.
    Gus enjoys spending time with his family and running.

  • Jo Nieman MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Jo qualified in 1985 from Bristol and joined St Kitts in September 2011. Jo enjoys all aspects of Small Animal Practice and meeting our lovely clients. Jo has 2 children, Otto the Sporting Lucas Terrier, 2 cats, hens and sheep!

  • Nathalie Fellows MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Nathalie has been a qualified Vet since 1994. She studied in Liege (Belgium) and worked in Belgium and in France before coming to England. Nathalie joined this Practice in December 2007. She enjoys working with all four legged creatures and has a little weakness for large cats and Retrievers of any types. In her spare time she enjoys family life and cooking and walking her rescue lurcher Maple.

  • Sabina Prasad MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Sabina joined St Kitts in October 2017. She has been qualified and working in practice since 1999.
    Outside of work Sabina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and has 2 rescue cats named Bobby and Billy.
    Sabina's hobbies include Indian classical dance, painting and playing the violin.

  • Steve Williams MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Steve qualified as a vet from Liverpool University in 1983 and worked in various parts of the country before settling in the local area with his partner and their two cats, Boris and Enzo. He has a particular interest in veterinary cardiology and sees many cardiorespiratory cases at our Hartley Wintney branch.
    In his spare time he enjoys travel and photography, both people and animals being favourite subjects.

  • Fiona Walker BVSc MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Fiona started at St Kitts Veterinary Group in 2018. She is originally from Australia and qualified as a vet in 2008. Fiona enjoys painting ,walking and cycling with her husband and 2 children in her spare time.

  • Karolina Pionk MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Karolina joined the group in August 2018. She qualified in 2005 in Poland and has been working in the UK for the last few years.
    Karolina enjoys D.I.Y ,embroidery and gardening.

  • Paul Dobson MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Paul grew up locally in Yateley. He qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from Bristol University in 2007. Paul spent 4 years working in small animal practice before moving over to shelter medicine at the a branch of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
    Paul has a strong interest in canine and feline medicine in particular.
    In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 sons and his cat Thomas. They can often be found outdoors or baking and cooking.

  • Julie Lawson-Smith RVN

    Head Veterinary Nurse

    Julie is the Head Nurse of St Kitts Veterinary Centre; she has been nursing since 1999 and qualified in 2004. Outside of work Julie enjoys spending time with her Husband, her little girl and her cat, Murphy.

  • Samantha Trimmer RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Sam has worked at St Kitts since early 2012. Sam Qualified as a Registered Veterinary nurse in March 2016. Sam enjoys baking, and picking up during the shooting season with her two lively springer spaniels.

  • Chloe Weekes RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Chloe qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2013. She has worked in a couple of different practices since starting her career in 2010.
    Chloe has a fiance and little girl at home and currently has no pets,however, as a Veterinary Nurse we are sure that will change!
    She enjoys horse riding and walking.

  • Coral Watson RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Coral started at St Kitts Veterinary Group in October 2017 .
    She started veterinary nursing in 2013 and qualified in 2017.
    When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her dog Solo and cat Evie as well as doing lessons in ariel hoop.

  • Sarah Kinge RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Sarah joined St Kitts Veterinary Group in December 2014.She has spent time working both at our Basingstoke and Hartley Wintney branches. Sarah Qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in December 2018. She has two cats called Rosie and Alfie and a cheeky hamster named Barb.

  • Hannah Cannon RVN

    Registered Veterinary nurse

    Hannah Qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2018. She has keen interests in Dance and enjoys spending time with her 2 cats.

  • Genine Sykes SVN

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Genine joined the company as an Auxiliary nurse and is now training to be a Veterinary Nurse.She has previously worked as an Auxiliary nurse at Fitzpatricks referrals.
    At home Genine has a Yorkshire terrier named Daisy and a cat named Miss Lulu.

  • Louise Barrett

    Auxiliary Nurse

    Louise joined the nursing support team at St Kitts Veterinary Centre in March 2019. She has lots of previous Veterinary experince and will be starting Veterinary Nursing college in September.
    Outside of work Louise enjoys spending time with her Husband and their 2 children. She is also kept busy by her Staffordshire Bull Terrier ,Dexter and her 2 Guinea pigs Oreo and Ginger.

  • Lesley Worton


    Lesley has worked at St Kitts as a Receptionist since 2012. She has previously worked as a Veterinary Receptionist for many years. Out of work Lesley loves spending time with her dogs, horses and grown up children.

  • Kate Hicks


    Kate joined the St Kitts team in March 2017. She previously worked in a boarding kennels and cattery for eight years. Kate lives with her Husband, her cat named Fanta and her dog named Harvey. Kate enjoys travelling and going for walks.

  • Fiona Keegan


    Fiona joined our St Kitts Veterinary team in 2017.
    She has a chocolate Labrador called Molly, who she enjoys long walks with, and an elderly Cat named Stella.

  • Caron-Marie Swadling


    Caron joined our team in 2017 and works at both our Firgrove and Hartley Wintney branches on reception. Caron also continues to work as a freelance book keeper in her spare time.
    She has two teenage daughters and a keen cyclist husband.
    She fits in very well to the team as an avid animal lover ! She currently has Darcy the pony, a crazy dalmation Domino and syrian hamster Bean.

  • Anna Jones RVN SQP CC ANA

    Practice Manager

    Anna started at St Kitts Veterinary Group in April 2018 as practice manager. She has been working in practice since 2005 and qualified as an RVN in 2009. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, running and taking Barney her Labrador for long walks.

  • Sam Axten

    Accounts and Management Support

    Sam qualified to AAT NVQ Level 4 in Accountancy. She has worked at St Kitts since 2008 as our accountant. Sam has worked in various finance roles for the past 15 years.
    At home Sam enjoys spending time with her two children, as well going on walks with her 2 dogs, Rosie and Sora.

  • Laura England RVN

    Marketing and Management Support

    Laura has worked with us since 2008 . She took a short break in 2012 to be a first time mum and re-joined us in 2013 to continue working as a RVN .She qualified from MYF training college in 2005. Laura has now taken on the role of Marketing manager.Outside of work Laura enjoys spending her time with her Husband and 2 children. She has a keen interest in films and loves to curl up with a good book.Laura has a cat called Bella and two noisy Guinea pigs called Cherry and Zippy .
