Further to our post from 6th December, please see today’s press release from DEFRA confirming an extension of the prevention zone until 28th February for all poultry keepers to help reduce the spread of avian flu. Throughout January we will be running FREE nursing weight clinics across all of our branches, to help raise awareness of your pet’s ideal weight, and offer advice and ideas!
Obesity can decrease an animal’s life span and lead to many health conditions. The most practical way to assess if a pet is in underweight or overweight is to perform a body condition score.
